"I have eaten at Libretti's many times over the years. A landmark restaurant in the Orange valley for over 60 years. I used to go more frequently when I worked in the area, but we returned last week for a family celebration and the food was every bit as good as we remembered it. Great chicken, seafood and pasta dishes. It's clearly worth the trip back to this old neighborhood to dine at Libretti's"

"Place has been a staple of the neighborhood for over 60 years. I came for the Veal and my date came for the scampi. We haven't had either in many years and hoped they would be the same, and you know what they were better than I remembered. The Shrimp Scampi over linguini had large clean shrimp with the perfect amount of sauce rich in flavor with al dente pasta. Simply stated tough to ever beat this dish. The real winner was my Veal Libretti. This was a special many years ago, but it was ordered so much they put it in on the menu. Stuffed scaloppini with sopressata, ham, and mozzarella, served in a marsala mushroom sauce. No way for me to describe this dish as it was so tasty, so rich and so filling that the side of pasta although very good went almost untouched.
Forget the neighborhood forget anything you have ever read, this place still rocks and was one of the best meals I've eaten in a very long time."

Libretit's is our favorite Italian Restaurant in NJ. For a quick "let's go out to dinner, last minute to let's go out with friends" you cannot go wrong. The prices are great and meals are great too. Try their eggplant parm - not on the menu, but they will gladly make it for you and you will not be dissapointed. As well as the oreganato shrimp, yummy..
We love Libretti's, my husband has been going there for many years... always a good meal.
