Libretti’s Restaurant, established over 45 years ago, continues its tradition of fine Italian Cuisine. Libretti’s started out as a small one room establishment, with only one chef. Over the years, Libretti’s has expanded, as well as made several changes. The most recent change occurred in November 1997.
The new owner, Danny Lazzara offers new and exciting ideas to this fine establishment. Danny prides himself on his ability to have close working relationships with his staff. Working closely with the chefs and kitchen staff, Danny partakes in the hands on creation of our daily specials, as well as the entrees that are served on a day- to- day basis. He realizes that establishing strong relationships with the staff is the first place to start in order to keep his business thriving. Not only is a strong relationship with his staff important, but Danny makes it a point to get to know his customers and establish a strong rapport.
Libretti’s was quoted by the Star Ledger as being, “ The Jumping Joint In Orange, That Offers A Home Away From Home. “ The Ledger, in the same article, continues on to say that, “ Libretti’s makes the effort to perfect your dining experience with its pungent Italian soul food.” The menu at Libretti’s offers a wide variety of food ranging from chicken, to veal, to seafood. For those who have their special requests, the chefs are more than happy to try to meet their needs.
Depending on whether one wants to come in for lunch, dinner, or even possibly looking to have a private affair catered, Libretti’s can suit your needs. Libretti’s has three dining rooms that can seat up to 120 patrons, as well as two separate catering rooms. The catering rooms can accommodate business luncheons and meetings, or it can be turned into a beautiful decorated facility for a wedding reception, an anniversary party, or even a baby shower.
The most important thing to remember is that even though Libretti’s has gone through a few changes over the past few months, the generously portioned delicious food, the friendly staff, and the home-like, cozy atmosphere still remains. The slight changes that Danny has made to this restaurant, and the changes that will occur over the next few years will only make your dining experience a much more pleasurable one.
Libretti’s is open seven days a week, for lunch and dinner. We also offer special arrangements for most of the holidays. If you would like, call for reservations or just come in for dinner. Your gracious host, Danny Lazzara, will always be ready to make your dining experience at Libretti’s a memorable one.
